New Soap Stand

I thought you all might like to see my newest soap display rack, courtesy of my father-in-law, Bud. He's quite a craftsman/woodworker. This display holds a ton of soap without taking up much counter space.

We designed it for the Market Basket in Edwardsville, IL., and painted it to match the rest of their displays. I wouldn't have thought to do it in the soft black color, but I really like the way the soap stands out against it. I'm still pretty happy with my black and white paper wrapping, but the next ribbon will be wider, I think. I would like a bigger punch of color on the labels. (Once a "tweaker" always a "tweaker", eh?)

My priority this coming week obviously needs to be making soap to replenish my rather depleted supply. To the laundry room, and quickly! :)

I love this stand! Wow. Wish I had a carpenter in the family to make me one! Love you colour scheme too. Nice! xo Jen

That looks great! My husband's been talking about building something very similar for our soap, but hasn't been able to get around to it yet. Gorgeous job, and it looks great with your packaging.
