All Natural Lavender Soap

For Nitya,at The soap Nut as promised: Pics of "Lavender Creme" all natural soap made with fresh goats milk....colored with Alkanet Root Powder and Rose Clay...

This photo doesn't exactly capture the color, but it's a really nice dusty purple. It seems that alkanet is very fickle, depending on the pH of your particular recipe. It's not the vibrant purple that you can get with synthetic colors, but it works for me and my style.

This batch of all natural lavender soap will be ready Sept. 1, 2012
