This is perfect. I hope you don't go tweaking again (well, for a while anyway...)! I am seriously thinking about eventually leaning toward a bag as well, because although I am really pleased with my packaging - it is a LOT of work. I have to individually gift-wrap each soap!!! I really like the label as well, not just the bag. The label is perfectly laid out, very pretty and looks professional. Also, as a little booklet form, it gives you space on the inside to describe the soap - in other words, they can sell themselves when you are not there! I'm just loving it!! xo Jen
Becky, I think this is just completely perfect for your soap. Knowing your soap and how it comes across, this packaging solution is the button on the dress. I would say it screams for copyright, "Patent it! Now!" but that may be crazy and surely much too costly..is there even such a thing when it comes to packaging rights? Anyhow, your solution is all around complete. Like Jen said, don't mess with this one anymore. Leave it! I know enough about packaging to say that. Also, high complements on your photography! You've come a million miles there since we talked about it..and that's not even THAT long ago
lovely packaging, it really does have that extra touch that paper packaging doesnt, and as jennifer has pointed out its soooo much quicker to just pop your soap in.
I ditto what all the others have said and would like to add that I think that packaging is "uniquely you" meaning if I saw that packaging anywhere else out on the internet - I would know at a glance it was yours. Just right for you.
Hi Jen, I have to say, I hope I don't go tweaking again either! LOL! I'm finally happy with the look and the ease of use. You know how long THAT took! Thanks so much for your kind words. Yes, I get rather verbose (imagine! -me!) on the inside of the card ---very descriptive. As you said, aiming to "sell" while I'm not there! :) Hope all is well and busy busy at Naturalmente Mediterraneo! -Becky
Thanks 'bong! I have just renewed my Heirloom Soapworks trademark, and included photos and samples of all the newest details! Trademarks are relatively easy/inexpensive to get and renew. It's such a fit for "my" soap, but not so much for most others....but better safe than sorry! Scout's honor, I'm done tweakin'! Thanks for the thumbs up on the photography -I was schooled by the master! :D
Thanks Michele...that's so much what I want....something that's uniquely "me" and recognizable. (Not always an easy task) -now we just have to wait and see how it goes over in the marketplace! Hey, do I need to update my link to your blog? Are you back to blogger these days? Let me know, and I'll do any updates asap.
