After many months of "percolating" on the idea & much encouragement from friends & family, I have launched my second line of homemade soap!
It's rather like the "alter ego" of Heirloom Soapworks....still mild, gentle handmade soap -but a bit more "girly" and "fun" -more scent variety & intensity, more colors, and fresh new designs.
I am very excited, and very inspired by the new world of scents and colors that will be available in the new brand. I've described it to friends as the feeling of going from a box of 8 well-used & loved crayons to a new box of 96 colors that are sharp and ready to virtually jump out of the box into your hand!
Heirloom Soapworks will remain as-is, and I will still be creating new 100% natural varieties under the HSW brand -it is, of course, my "baby"!
My Hubby has expanded my curing area, so I don't have the potpourri of scents in our living area 24/7 (too much, even of a beautiful scent, can be too much -I'm sure you soap-makers out there know what I mean!)
So without further ado, here is a link to my new (and still evolving) website/blog: www.glamourgirlsoap.com
I will be adding a "blogroll", but I have to "remember" how to do that on wordpress....hopefully withing the few days.
Happy Soaping Everyone!

Oh how exciting and I look forward to seeing what you come up with. We are working on a few lines as well that we are introducing soon.
I've started a wordpress site too but have to learn all the ins and outs of how to do a website/blog on there and it will take time.
Michelle
That is fantastic!! Your site and new soaps look great. I have 2 lines too and am still swithering about whether to have the more fun ones under a new name or within the Miss Polly name. great name you have chosen for your new soaps, I like it xx
Hi Michelle, Thanks for sharing in my excitement :D It's been so much fun! Please let me know if I can help in any way with your wordpress blog/site, my www.heirloomnaturalsoap.com and www.glamougirlsoap.com are both wordpress blogs using the same theme. Piddling with/tweaking my website is right up there with soap making for me! :)
Hi Polly, Thanks so much. I really have struggled with how to handle an additional "line" for almost nine months. I have worked hard to establish Heirloom as 100% natural, and didn't want to chance confusing customers, soooo...
Another website/blog will mean more administrative work, but I think it's the best decision for me. The name came easily, and I can't wait to show you all my stamped soap over at GLAMOUR GIRL! :)
I just read the scrolls on the blog site and i also grew to be considering the topic. Is extremely good site. Cheers.
