Handmade Christmas Soaps are here!

Handmade Christmas Soaps are here!

There are few things I enjoy more than freely expressing my faith through my work. (Being self-employed does have it’s advantages!)

Christmas seems like one of the best times to do so, as with all the hustle and bustle and secular distractions….well, it can take a person’s mind off of what Christmas truly celebrates -the birth of Our Savior, Jesus Christ.

It’s this most blessed event which I hope to convey (albeit with the most humble of materials -soap) in this year’s Christmas Gift Set from Heirloom Soapworks:

True Christmas by Heirloom Soapworks

This set includes three full-sized bars of natural soap, with the tangy-sweet scents of citrus and pine.

Whether you’re looking for a gift for your Pastor, Sunday School Teacher, or a favorite brother or sister in the faith, this set is sure to be appreciated!

Reserve yours now on our Facebook page, as supplies are very limited.

Happy Soaping everyone!  ~Becky

“Luke 2:7″ Christmas Soaps -your opinion, please…

To glitter or not to glitter, THAT is the question!

The limited edition “Luke 2:7″ Christmas soaps are on the curing rack, but I can’t decide on one thing:  are they prettier and more evocative of Baby Jesus’ glorious presence:
with glitter or without?

Here’s a picture of both versions, with and without glitter. Please feel free to comment and let me know which you prefer:
"And she gave birth to her firstborn son and wrapped him in strips of cloth and laid him in a manger, because there was no place for them in the inn"    Luke 2:7.

The camera doesn't pick up all of the glitter, but I think you can get an idea of the different looks from the picture.

Thanks for visiting, and Happy Soaping everyone!

"Holy Night" - A Christmas Soap

I had one of my "moments" when an idea that had been percolating in my head actually came together, and action was taken!  I love when that happens! :D   I wanted to do a Christmas soap that included the Star of Bethlehem, as well as  the passage "We have seen His star in the East and have come to worship Him." Matt. 2:1-2

I'm hoping that the Alkanet root powder will make the "sky" part of the soaps nice and dark like the night sky, but I guess I'll find out tomorrow.  This photo was taken just after I poured the soap:

I don't know yet if I'll sell these or keep them to give as gifts....

Looking so forward to Christmas! ~Becky
