Happy 2011 - A Giveaway!

I've been doing a lot of soaping (mostly in my mind) and planning....trying to decide which homemade  soap varieties to offer in 2011.   Wondering, as always, what would most delight my customers.   That's the $64,000.00 question......hmmmmm...."Hey, Becky (I said to myself) why not ask them??"  "Brilliant!" (I answered)

So.....I'm going to do a poll/giveaway!  YAY!  Don't you just love a chance to win FREE SOAP???

Here's what's to be won by three winners: Your choice of  1 bar of the following natural handmade soaps:  Lemonhead, Autumn Love, Tea Tree-Eucalyptus-Poppy Seed.

These are end cuts (not the prettiest bars, but full size and weigh a whopping 130g-172g each!)

Lemonhead  is a bright, vibrantly lemon natural soap, homemade using the hot process, with Litsea Cubeba (May Chang) essential oil, shea butter and mango butter. 172g

Autumn Love is a sensual, woodsy blend of sandalwood and vanilla fragrance oils, amyris essential oil, shea butter and mango butter in a 98% natural HP soap. 169g

Tea Tree-Eucalyptus-Poppyseed is fresh and bright, full of tea tree and eucalyptus essential oils with poppy seeds and oatmeal for gentle exfoliation.  This CP all natural soap is enriched with shea, mango and cocoa butters.  Only 1 bar of this variety is cured and ready to go -first winner who choses it get's it!  130g

Good Luck everyone!

"Maximus Marble" HP Dude Soap

The latest in my "Marble" HP Soap series, this soap is fragraced with an EO blend that I concocted for men, my husband in particular. It's a warm, fresh, sexy combination that is quite appealing ...I believe it would make a great men's aftershave or cologne...maybe I'll look into experimenting for the hubby!

Although it smells nothing (presumably) like a hot, sweaty gladiator...the name was inspired by the main character of the Gladiator movie, "Maximus."

I hope you can see the purple color of the "veining"...it's from alkanet root powder, and looks really nice in person.  I'm really liking the look of the marbling technique, and I hope others do, too.  (Always nice to actually sell some of my creations!)

I really love this HP soapmaking.  It's certainly a longer and more involved process,  fun and challenging at the sames time.  I suppose I'll keep working on my new HP passion until I get tired of it...but I think that may be a while! :)
