"Maximus Marble" HP Dude Soap

The latest in my "Marble" HP Soap series, this soap is fragraced with an EO blend that I concocted for men, my husband in particular. It's a warm, fresh, sexy combination that is quite appealing ...I believe it would make a great men's aftershave or cologne...maybe I'll look into experimenting for the hubby!

Although it smells nothing (presumably) like a hot, sweaty gladiator...the name was inspired by the main character of the Gladiator movie, "Maximus."

I hope you can see the purple color of the "veining"...it's from alkanet root powder, and looks really nice in person.  I'm really liking the look of the marbling technique, and I hope others do, too.  (Always nice to actually sell some of my creations!)

I really love this HP soapmaking.  It's certainly a longer and more involved process,  fun and challenging at the sames time.  I suppose I'll keep working on my new HP passion until I get tired of it...but I think that may be a while! :)

"Deep Purple" HP Soap

Here's my latest purchase: A pretty purple Crock Pot from Walmart -on sale for $18.00! (I got two...to facilitate my new HP passion)
But check out the purple (alkanet infused) oil -had to take a pic. Funny it's the first batch in my new crock.
Here's how it looks this a.m. I'm actually pleased with the look. I'm getting used to and rather fond of the HP marbling. It's fragranced with French Lavender (of course) and smells divine, courtesy of the HP.
